Suspicious / Bogus Caller
Caller from the Meadowfield Court Aghalee area reports that at approximately 2:45pm a young male wearing a yellow workers jacket came to the house asking for a water sample.
The caller offered to get this for him but this male demanded in so that he could get it himself. The caller refused him entry and this male left. The male caller had short dark hair and spoke wuith an Irish brogue. The male left in a black car.
It is not known if he called at any other homes in the area.
Water Service have been unable to confirm if any of their workers are in the area.
Please be wary of any callers given recent distraction burglaries. Any genuine agency staff will have suitable identification and will understand and checks to their company you may wish to take time to make.
