The above vehicle (possibly a Toyota
Landcruiser) was reported calling at a premises yesterday in the
Mullaghcarton Road area of Lisburn.
It had a male person on board attempting to sell shed
painting services which the resident
did not want and is
certain this is the same individual who has now called before over the past few years
and was reported for being
abusive when asked to leave .
The registration, first part showed
a Dublin registry with possibly
three numbers following this. When the resident took a photo of him he
also started taking pictures of their premises before being told to leave.
This male has ginger hair
and is of a heavy build and had a young person in the passenger seat with
him.
No offences disclosed at this time but please be aware of suspicious
callers / rogue traders.
Theft / Break-in
Two barns on the Creevytenant Road, Ballynahinch
were broken into over the period 17-18 April and a red 50cc quad bike and two
compressors (red SIP & white Axminster)
stolen.

A yard on the Saintfield Road Lisburn was entered overnight Wednesday
/ Thursday and a ride on lawnmower with other items was
stolen.
Locks had been cut off the doors and a rotavator and a Husqvarna
Model 175 orange coloured mower taken.

A shed in Mourneview Crescent Lisburn was also
broken into overnight Wednesday / Thursday and a number of items stolen
including a Flymo lawnmower, Black & Decker strimmer, Flymo leaf blower,
Karcher pressure washer and two expensive bike - a black and white Canondale
valued at around £1600 and a Kona mountain bike in black / yellow / red colours
valued at approximately £700.

stolen items, in particular the distinctive and expensive bikes please contact

Burglary
Entry had been forced to the property via a rear window.
The two males made off in a white cab style van with a blue pick-up body. The vehicle made off in the direction of Belfast. No other details on the vehicle are known.
The
thieves are described as :
1. 26 years approximately, thin build, 5'8" tall with jet black hair
wearing a mustard coloured top
2. 15 years old approximately, thin build, 5'6",
blonde hair and wearing a blue and red hooded top
