CSN - Christmas Bulletin

CSN Message

Just a short message to thank all those who have contributed to Lisburn CSN over the past year both in practice and by way of new members coming on board.

The crime prevention and alert ethos has been notably reflected in the manner of calls made to Lisburn Police over the last twelve months and in the excellent results in the reduction of crime in our area.

However, such praise has little effect on those who seek to profit from your efforts in the year as they will continue to fund their own Christmas by way of burglary and thefts.

No doubt the Christmas tree is now surrounded with parcels and packages, last minute shopping will be in the car and ATM's will be in full flow.

Please continue to ensure property and vehicles are locked and secure. Where possible store gifts form view and keep wallets, purses and handbags out of reach of would be thieves.

Queues are long and tempers are short out there at the moment - please be patient and administer a bit of "goodwill to all"!

Most of all please enjoy your "festive cheer" responsibly (no domestics please) and remember the night before can influence the morning after. No drinking and driving!

All said and done may I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year in 2009 and that for the next few days at least please make this job an unnecessary one.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY
